About & support

Tidewatch Verifier builds cited, exactly reproducible climate briefs for any place: pick an area on the map, pay per brief from MiniPay, and get coral heat stress, tree-cover loss and sea-level figures, each recomputable from archived source data and anchored on Celo.

A support email address is being set up. Until then, the brief's status screen shows its state and any refund transaction.

Common questions

My brief failed. Do I get my money back?

Yes, automatically. A failed paid brief is refunded in full to the paying wallet, in the same token, usually within a few minutes. The status screen shows "Refunded" with a link to the refund transaction. Network fees are not refunded.

My brief has said "in progress" for a long time.

Most briefs take under a minute. If the service status above says the agent is offline, your paid request is queued and will be built, or refunded, when it is back. Your payment is safe on-chain either way.

How do I check a brief is genuine?

Open the verify page and paste the report hash, or tap "Open the verify page" on a brief. It downloads every archived source slice, checks each hash, recomputes every figure and compares the brief's hash with the one recorded on Celo.

Why does a reef show high heat stress but "No Stress" today?

NOAA's alert level reflects how hot the water is right now, while Degree Heating Weeks add up heat stress over the last 12 weeks. After a heatwave, DHW can stay high after the water has cooled.

Which tokens can I pay with?

Briefs are paid in USDC (test USDC on Celo Sepolia in this build). MiniPay pays the network fee in USDC too, so you do not need CELO. Refunds come back in USDC.
