Terms of use
Last updated 28 October 2026. Operated by Sushmit Sarmah ("we").
This build runs on the Celo Sepolia test network. Test tokens have no value.
What the service does
Tidewatch Verifier builds a short climate brief for an area you choose (coral heat stress, tree-cover loss, sea level). Every figure is computed from archived public source data, the brief is stored as a file whose SHA-256 hash is recorded on the Celo blockchain, and anyone can recompute the figures on the verify page.
Not advice
Briefs are automated summaries of public scientific data. They are not professional, safety, legal, insurance or emergency advice. Do not use them for evacuation or other safety decisions. The underlying data has its own limits (resolution, delays, gaps), which each brief lists.
Payment
- A brief costs the price shown before you pay (currently 0.05 USDC), paid from your wallet to the agent wallet on Celo. Network fees are paid by your wallet in the stablecoin you choose.
- Payments are on-chain transfers. We cannot reverse them, but we refund them as below.
- Tips are voluntary and are not refunded.
Refunds
- If a paid brief cannot be built (after up to three attempts, or at once when the request cannot succeed), the full brief price is refunded automatically to the paying wallet, in the same token, usually within a few minutes. The refund transaction is linked on the brief's status screen.
- Each payment is refunded at most once. Network fees you paid are not refunded.
- If an automatic refund does not arrive, contact us (see Support) with the payment transaction ID.
- A brief that was built and anchored is not refunded because you disagree with the data; tell us if you think a figure is wrong and we will check it.
Your responsibilities
Use the service lawfully. Do not try to overload it or interfere with other users. Area names you type become part of a public brief, so do not include personal information.
Availability and changes
The service is provided as is, without warranty, and may be unavailable at times (the status shows on the map and on Support). We may change these terms; the date above changes when we do.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the brief concerned.
